Hard Hat Tour: OKPOP

The OKPOP Museum in Tulsa, Oklahoma, will house world-class installations and interactive exhibits telling the stories of Oklahoma’s profound impact on popular culture. Set to open in 2022, Nabholz Construction is currently bringing to life the design of Lilly Architects and Overland Partners. 

Chris Lilly, principal of Lilly Architects, described to Business Wire, “’Grit and glitz’ is a term the team coined to describe the overall feel of the project. With one cultural foot on Route 66 and the other on Main Street, OKPOP will highlight the journeyman’s struggle and the thrill of making it big – the grit and the glitz inherent to the life of Oklahoma’s creatives.”

Come see the "grit and glitz" of OKCPOP Museum for yourself at SMPS' Hard Hat Tour on June 17th!

The tour will begin at 3PM followed by a Social Happy Hour at “Sound Pony” across the street from the Museum. All participants will need to provide their own PPE (glasses/hat/closed toe shoes).
